I’m with Progressive in Texas, and I’m satisfied with their low rates and decent service. When I last compared quotes, Progressive was the cheapest for me, about $30 less than State Farm and $40 less than Allstate. But when I asked them to quote my home insurance, they weren’t even close to the best price.

I live in Redmond, Washington, and I pay around $120 a month for my 2020 GMC Denali. What surprised me is that my premium has varied quite a bit depending on the neighborhood I lived in, going as low as $83 and as high as around $150 per month, so it really seems to depend on your zip code.

I drive a 2012 Dodge Avenger, and I currently pay $93 a month for liability because I qualified for a teacher discount. The full coverage quote was $161 per month, so it made a big difference for me being a teacher. It sounds like discounts can really lower your rate.
