Is pet insurance really worth the money?

I definitely think pet insurance is worth it. Last year, my dog needed emergency surgery for eating something he shouldn’t have, and the bill came out to $3,000. Luckily, my insurance covered 80% after my deductible, so I only ended up paying around $600. Without insurance, that would have been a huge financial hit for me.
