Hey everyone, I’m looking to get motorcycle insurance and the quotes I’ve received so far are all over the place. It’s hard to figure out which company offers the best value – good coverage without breaking the bank. I’d love to hear about your experiences and what you pay for your motorcycle insurance so I can get a better idea of what to expect.

I’m 22 years old and I pay $18 a month for insurance through Progressive. While it’s not clear what kind of coverage I have, this seems like a very affordable rate compared to what some other young riders are paying.

I’m in my mid-30s and I ride a 2022 Triumph Trident 660. Dairyland quoted me $230 per year for full coverage. This was an improvement from the $199 I paid last year with them, even without any claims history.

I’m 35 years old and I have a CBR600rr. My insurance with Progressive costs me $4,000 a year. Sportbikes tend to be much more expensive to insure, and factors like my age and the type of bike likely contribute to this high premium.

I’m 61 years old in New Jersey and I recently got my motorcycle endorsement. I insured my 2007 Shadow VT600CD with Progressive for $270 a year. My age might be a significant factor in getting a lower rate as a new rider.
