Plus, they know little tips, like how sometimes adding a cheap renters policy can actually give you a multi-policy discount that saves you more than the renters policy costs.
I’ve found that the absolute cheapest options are often smaller, regional insurers that don’t spend a ton on ads. For example, when I lived in Iowa, companies like IMT and Iowa Mutual consistently had lower quotes for minimum coverage compared to the big national companies because they focus on the local area. You should definitely get quotes from those types of places first.
